**Job Summary**

As a Data Engineering & Governance Analyst, you will play a key role in building relevant, ethical, secure, and impactful data products, reporting, and visualizations for Internal Audit. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will take on challenging assignments and networking opportunities. **Job Description**

**What will you do?**

- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, data engineers, auditors, and executives to design, develop, and deploy data solutions within the IA Ecosystem.
- Determine project scope and expected outcomes from multiple stakeholders, perform data analysis, and build visualizations to address identified needs.
- Drive change throughout the CAE Data Ecosystem by implementing simplified processes with stakeholders.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively through oral and written skills across cross-functional groups.

**What do you need to succeed?**

*Must-have:*
- Available for an 8-month Co-op commitment.
- Enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a drive to understand behaviors and habits.
- Strong understanding of data and programming concepts, with experience analyzing large data sets.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with data analytics software, visualization tools, and programming languages (Python, SQL, Tableau).
- Ability to synthesize data and concepts into clear, compelling messages.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to explain conclusions and next steps to stakeholders.

*Nice-to-have:*
- Curiosity to meet and learn about others' roles.
- Experience using Tableau, R, and knowledge of DataIku, Plotly.
- A good sense of UX/UI design.

Candidates from all degree programs will be considered. Familiarity with data and computing concepts from a Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related degree program may be an advantage.

**Eligibility:**
To be eligible for these positions, you must either:
- Be returning to school after the work term; or
- If graduating immediately after the work term, you must require the full work term as a mandatory component for graduation.
