**Job Summary**
Working within the Enterprise Finance team, you will focus on Data Governance, automation, and process improvement opportunities across the CFO group. This role involves collaborating with the CFO business to understand critical data elements and support key processes to ensure data integrity. You will also support the CFO Center of Expertise in Data Management and Governance.
**Job Description**
**What will you do?**
- Analyze processes, gather requirements, seek solutions for improvement, and oversee the implementation of these solutions.
- Assist in identifying and monitoring Data Quality and Data Management issues to ensure Finance Critical Data Elements (CDEs) are managed appropriately.
- Establish and continuously enhance expertise in data risk management and governance.
- Interpret data using business-grounded logic and analytics techniques to test controls, identify exceptions, and uncover insights and trends.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline current processes.
- Ensure all Finance data domain issues are identified, logged, managed, and escalated as needed for timely resolution.
**What do you need to succeed?**
- **Must-have:**
- Background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong Microsoft Excel quantitative, financial, and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational, written (Email/PowerPoint), and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to learn Data Governance and Management tools.
- Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- **Nice-to-have:**
- VBA knowledge and experience or knowledge of another programming language.
- Ability to develop PowerPoint presentations focusing on Data Management and Governance.
- Previous experience in a financial environment.
