**Job Summary**
Participates in and supports the operational activities of a business unit. Applies experience and complete working knowledge of the job and policies/practices to perform a combination of routine tasks and varied administrative/operational assignments.

**Job Description**
The Summer Intern, CRE will assist in providing comprehensive real estate solutions and portfolio strategy that address stakeholder needs. The Summer Intern will work directly with the CRE management team to provide both strategic and tactical advice on the provision of real estate services to the business platforms, balancing business requirements with long term optimal real estate planning. This role will also work cross-functionally across the CRE team.

**Responsibilities:**
- Analyze, design, deliver, and implement analytic development projects using RBC’s analytics tools.
- Ensure project activities are accomplished within approved time frames, scope, and budgets.
- Utilize the latest technologies available, designing and building data solutions to meet business needs.
- Constantly seek out better ways to do things, including new tools, technologies, and processes.
- Work on transformational projects delivering new value.
- Be part of an agile team responsible for end-to-end delivery of business needs.
- Use business domain knowledge to independently lead the analytics process to identify valuable and innovative insights.
- Promote analytics across the enterprise to enable RBC to become a data-driven organization.

**Qualifications:**

*Must-have:*
- Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or business.
- Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written).
- Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience or understanding of data visualization tools (Tableau), and databases (SQL and/or VBA).
- Ability to perform data extraction, transformation, and loading processes with various data types.
- Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

*Nice-to-have:*
- Proficient in building statistical and algorithmic models with complex datasets, including supervised statistical learning and data visualization.
- Knowledge of current analytics technologies, data warehouse concepts, and relational database design.
- Ability to quickly learn and absorb new concepts.

**Position Details:**
- Duration: 4-month Summer 2025 Student placement (May 2025 - August 2025).
- Eligibility: Must be returning to school after the work term or require the work term for graduation.

**Location:**
