**Job Summary:**
RBC is seeking a Technical Systems Analyst Co-op for a 12-month term within our Technology & Operations team. This opportunity is open to candidates currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on computer science, engineering, or technology.

**What You Will Do:**
- Create and review technical design documents for small projects and understand their application in the coding process.
- Coordinate design phases, identifying, tracking, and resolving technical issues.
- Participate in walkthrough reviews of technical specifications, programs, and unit test plans.
- Provide estimates for design, coding, and unit testing tasks, improving accuracy over time.
- Conduct performance tuning to enhance application efficiency.
- Facilitate small group meetings for technical design and problem-solving.
- Provide third-level support for applications and databases.

**What You Need to Succeed:**
**Must-Have:**
- Enrollment in a Canadian post-secondary program with a focus on computer science, engineering, or technology.
- Strong leadership skills and a passion for working in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Creative and analytical thinking abilities; self-driven and capable of thriving in fast-paced settings.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience or understanding of programming languages and databases.

**Nice-to-Have:**
- Familiarity with web technologies and frameworks.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and cross-browser development.
- Understanding of IT standards, methodologies, and audit requirements.
