**Position:** Adult Day Support Worker
**Status:** Regular Part-Time Position
**Hours of Work:** No Guarantee of Hours; Various hours spanning from morning to evening, Monday through Sunday, including alternating weekends and holidays
**Compensation:** $29.71 - $31.53/hour (plus 14% in lieu of benefits)
**Location:** Onsite – Davis Centre, 80 Allan Dr, Bolton, Ontario L7E 1P7

**Role Overview:**
As the Adult Day Support Worker, you will report to the Adult Day and Community Services Supervisor and be responsible for delivering personal care to clients participating in the Adult Day Programs. You will be an integral member of an interdisciplinary team, promoting client dignity and self-esteem while encouraging independence in a secure and engaging environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
- Assist with medication management.
- Serve and assist with meals while monitoring safe consumption.
- Monitor participants' basic health and report any unusual concerns to the Supervisor.
- Guide and advise volunteers and placement students; assist in the orientation of new staff.
- Foster a comfortable and secure atmosphere for clients.
- Contribute to the development of personalized care plans.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to policies, procedures, and standards.

**Qualifications:**
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or graduation from an approved program.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a community setting, Adult Day Service, or Long Term Care setting is preferred.
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Food Handler Training Certification.
- Pharmacology Certification.
- Proficient with computer skills and technological tools.

**Skills/Abilities:**
- Effective oral and written communication skills with a strong understanding of customer service.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, visitors, and medical professionals.
- Strong teamwork orientation.
