**Job Title:** AEM Lead Developer
**Location:** Toronto (Hybrid - In-office at least 3 days a week)

**About the Role:**
Join our Applications Development team as an AEM Lead Developer at Marsh McLennan. This pivotal position offers the opportunity to provide technical guidance in the design, development, and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products, and services.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Serve as an expert in AEM software-based solutions and technologies.
- Provide technical leadership in sophisticated AEM-centric digital marketing solutions.
- Lead solution architecture design and mentor teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Architect and design scalable solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Collaborate with senior leadership on project operations, compliance, and risk governance.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodology and planning.
- Enforce coding standards and participate in peer code reviews.
- Analyze complex project issues, identify solution options, and present recommendations to clients.
- Maintain the highest level of technical expertise by staying current on Adobe technologies.
- Work under minimal supervision on complex assignments.

**Qualifications:**
- 7 to 10 years of proven experience in delivering global and highly scalable customer-facing digital products.
- Experience in Agile methodology, including SCRUM.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming, preferably in Java.
- Strong understanding of the AEM product suite and Adobe Experience Cloud.
- 2+ years of experience in development and migration from other CMS platforms to AEM.
- Extensive experience with REST API design and implementation.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and automation tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins).
- Strong analytical skills for managing complex problems.
- Experience in complex software product delivery within an agile environment.
- Exposure to public cloud technology stack in AWS.

**Preferred Skills:**
- Knowledge of Sling or OSGi frameworks, JCR API, RESTful principles, or ExtJS framework.
- Familiarity with AEM Cloud Service.
- Understanding of AEM building blocks and deployment processes.
- Ability to manage Dispatcher configurations.
