**The Role:**
Our client is seeking an experienced AI Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Toronto. This role is pivotal in the development and deployment of AI systems for next-generation home robotics. You will be responsible for creating and refining AI algorithms in areas such as computer vision, natural language processing, and autonomous decision-making. You will collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of AI systems, enabling reliable, real-world functionality.

**Requirements:**
- **AI & Machine Learning:** Extensive experience in designing and developing machine learning models, focusing on robotics and automation. Proficiency in frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is essential.
- **Computer Vision:** Expertise in vision-based systems including cameras, LIDAR, or depth sensors for perception and navigation.
- **Natural Language Processing (NLP):** Proven ability to develop conversational AI systems and integrate language models for robotic interaction.
- **Data Set Creation:** Hands-on experience in creating, managing, and optimizing datasets for training machine learning models.
- **Hardware Integration:** Ability to work closely with sensors, actuators, and hardware components to ensure AI compatibility and performance.
- **Programming Skills:** Proficiency in Python, C++, and MATLAB for building and deploying AI solutions.
- **Education:** Master’s degree in AI, Robotics, Computer Science, or related fields. A PhD or relevant certifications are a strong advantage.
