**Position Overview:**
The Analyst, Quality Assurance is responsible for the accurate execution of tests for digital solutions and preparation of testing artifacts in alignment with best practices and Ontario Health Quality Assurance standards. The role includes conducting a variety of tests to assess the quality and efficacy of applications.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create testing plans, test scenarios, and data for testing in coordination with the QA Lead or senior QA team members.
- Write and execute test cases.
- Document results and provide updates to project teams and management.
- Ensure the best user experiences possible and recommend changes to improve product quality.
- Document improvements to onboarding processes for new QA team members.
- Collaborate with internal peers to ensure alignment of practices, patterns, and solutions.
- Stay updated on evolving technology and design patterns.
**Qualifications:**
**Education and Experience:**
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
- Experience with quality assurance and testing processes and tools.
- Familiarity with User Stories, BRD, data models, and design in support of QA testing.
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), and Big Data Management.
- Proficiency with relational database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Azure Synapse) and Unix/Linux, Bash shell scripting.
- Knowledge of relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
