**Area of Responsibility:**
Reporting to the Coordinator, Recreation Business Systems, this position is responsible for providing analysis, recommendations, and support for Recreation systems to ensure optimum functionality and configuration that supports user requirements. This role provides excellent customer service while protecting the integrity of Recreation systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Business Analysis:**
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information and user requirements, identifying problems, evaluating options, and recommending solutions.
- Consult with functional and management staff to identify, define, and document procedures and problems, and identify issues with system functionality.
- Collate, analyze, and interpret data related to complex problems and/or unexpected situations.
- Implement approved process improvements using project management methodology.
- Provide analytical advice and troubleshoot emerging issues to ensure prompt resolution.
- **Day-to-Day Operational Support & System Management:**
- Act as the subject matter expert, responding to user inquiries to support system maximization.
- Conduct regular reporting and system audits to maintain system integrity.
- Ensure system compliance with policies and procedures, providing ongoing analysis and maintenance.
- Assist with system upgrades, including testing and communication of improvements.
- Configure changes within system parameters as needed.
- **User Support:**
- Provide user support and troubleshoot functionality issues.
- Develop reference guides and provide training to users.
- **Project Team Member:**
- Participate on project teams and focus groups for system improvement.
- Communicate business objectives and articulate end-user needs to relevant parties.
**Selection Criteria:**
- High school graduation plus a program of three to four years in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Non-probationary valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence.
- 2 to 4 years experience in systems analysis and business support.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint & Office 365; Xplor Recreation software experience considered an asset.
- Experience with Project Management is an asset.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills.
