**Job Summary**
The Assistant Manager, Guest Experience is a vital part of the store leadership team, ensuring that our team members and guests receive a quality experience in our stores every day. This role involves leading from the floor, building and developing team members, and fostering a culture of belonging and growth. The Assistant Manager ensures that the team delivers an outstanding guest experience aligned with company values.

**Core Responsibilities**

**Leadership and People Management**
- Foster a respectful and inclusive team environment by celebrating differences.
- Engage team members by connecting their work to the store's success.
- Support the Store Manager in hiring a strong, diverse team.
- Provide ongoing learning and development opportunities, including direct feedback and coaching.
- Lead performance management activities and address employee concerns.

**Guest Experience and Community**
- Lead exceptional guest experiences on the floor through active engagement and product education.
- Provide retail floor leadership and make in-the-moment decisions to maintain operational efficiency.
- Resolve guest feedback and address emergent issues to ensure guest satisfaction.

**Operations, Product, and Strategy**
- Partner with other managers to review business data (e.g., P&L statements) to inform planning processes.
- Maintain product presentation and visual merchandising standards.
- Open and close the store in accordance with procedures and ensure adherence to safety policies.

**Budget Responsibility**
- Accountable for aspects of the controllable budget and labor hours.

**Job Requirements**

**Eligibility**
- Must be authorized to work in the country of the store.
- Must have reliable transportation to assigned store.

**Schedule/Availability**
- Variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Experience**
- 1 year of people management experience.
- 1 year of leadership experience in managing business operations.

**Job Assets**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is a plus.
- 1 year of retail or sales management experience is desirable.

**Work Context**
- Work in an environment with bright lights and loud music, both independently and as part of a team.
- May involve managing conflict and reaching out to build community relationships.
- Includes physical activity such as moving around the store and potentially lifting boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.

**Compensation & Benefits**
- Base Pay Range: $24.78 - $33.53/hour, subject to minimum wage laws.
- Target Bonus: 25%
- Total Target Base Pay Range: $30.98 - $41.91/hour.
