**Associate Professor in Teaching and Research - School of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)**
**Location:** Kensington, Sydney, Australia
**Salary:** AUD $179,630 to $197,312 per annum + 17% superannuation
**Employment Type:** Full time, Continuous (Permanent)

**The Opportunity**
Join the School of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW as an Associate Professor in a Teaching and Research role. In this pivotal position, you will lead research initiatives at both national and international levels while delivering outstanding teaching to the next generation of computer science engineers, with a focus on Robotics. This role allows you to contribute to shaping the future direction of computing in Australia.

**The School**
The School of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at UNSW is one of the largest and most impactful schools in Australia, currently serving nearly 6,500 students and employing 76 academic staff. With a strong emphasis on societal impact and translation, CSE offers a dynamic environment that fosters innovation in computing and technology. The School provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, and Cyber Security.

**Skills and Experience**
- PhD in a related discipline and/or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, course development, and delivering programs at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
- Proven track record in research leadership with high-quality, high-impact outcomes.
- Experience with industry partnerships and work-integrated learning.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness and commitment to educational excellence.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to support diverse students and initiatives for equity and inclusion.
