**Job Posting: Automation Developer**

**Location:** Hybrid (3 days in-office)
**Start Date:** April 2, 2024

**Responsibilities:**
- Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.
- Design and execute QA tests using automation scripts.
- Write and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks.
- Investigate software issues and collaborate with QA analysts and developers for solutions.
- Advise on testing strategies, test plans, and resource requirements.
- Organize testing efforts for large systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments.
- Execute systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support user acceptance testing activities.

**Skills and Experience:**
- Proven experience in automating software processes.
- Strong background in designing and executing automated QA tests.
- Experience with database, system, network, application, hardware, and software testing.
- Ability to document bugs and quality issues.
- Experience in stakeholder collaboration to improve workflows through automation.
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
- Familiarity with one or more automated testing tools (e.g., Katalon, Selenium, Microfocus UFT).
- Experience in coding automated test scripts and testing Commercial Off-the-Shelf Applications (COTS).

**Desirable Skills:**
- Knowledge of programming languages and information retrieval packages.
- Understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) regulations.
- Experience with AODA Compliance Audit & Remediation.

**Qualifications:**
- 10+ years of experience in testing, planning, and automation.
- Extensive experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps & Microfocus ALM.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Must-Haves:**
- Extensive experience with automated test tools (Katalon, Selenium, Microfocus UFT).
- Experience in a DevOps environment and with Performance Testing tools (J-Meter).
- Proficiency in automated test development and testing methodologies.
