**Job Description:**
We are seeking a Business Consultant specializing in Data Analysis to assist our Client Data team. The ideal candidate will perform the following responsibilities:

- Analyze, query, and manipulate data to understand defined business rules and procedures.
- Evaluate current data quality controls and design specifications, identifying quality issues and recommending solutions.
- Assist in the design of quality edit checks and test plans to meet data quality objectives and engage with cross-functional teams.
- Provide accurate interpretation of data and support research into client data structure, maintenance, performance, and modeling.
- Define and implement policies and standards for cloud-native data aligned with enterprise data governance during migrations from Cloudera to Azure, focusing on client data domains.
- Analyze data for compliance, identifying quality issues, and recommending solutions.
- Develop complex data quality audits using SQL to summarize and present data effectively.
- Collaborate with database developers to enhance data collection and storage processes during migration from on-premises to cloud environments.
- Document data process flows to support data sourcing and lineage.
- Manage documentation related to data quality, including standards, definitions, and guidelines.
- Build and maintain dashboards that report on key data quality metrics for the bank's client data domain.
- Ensure data integrity through quality assurance practices and resolve anomalies.
- Assist in tracking and analyzing data to recommend KPIs for client data domains, aimed at establishing Data Quality Rules & KPIs.

**Knowledge/Technical Skills:**

- Proficient in Hadoop, Spark, Pig, and Hive technologies.
- Experience with data ingestion in Data Lakes, Azure cloud technologies, and data retrieval on big data platforms.
- Comprehensive understanding of Data Modeling, Data Migration, ETL processes, and database technologies such as DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Strong data management and governance knowledge, including the development of data quality improvement metrics.
- Experience in designing dashboards and data visualizations with tools like Alteryx, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Proven ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners, with a sound knowledge of banking standards and infrastructure.

**Experience:**

- A track record of improving data governance processes, data structures, and data quality controls.
- Proven experience in data profiling, quality rules definition, and generating quality performance indicators.
- Solid understanding of data quality concepts, lifecycle management, and best practices.
