**Position Overview**
Astellas Pharma Canada (APCA) is currently searching for a Business & Technical Analyst. In this multifaceted role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, analyzing and translating business requirements into technical specifications.

**Essential Job Duties**
- **Business Requirements Analysis:** Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and objectives; analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- **Technical Specification Development:** Create detailed technical specifications from business requirements, ensuring alignment with business and technical standards.
- **Solution Design and Recommendation:** Work with development teams to design solutions; evaluate technical solutions for feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, facilitating clear communication and gathering feedback.
- **Project Management Support:** Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress to meet deadlines and budgets.
- **Testing and Quality Assurance:** Participate in testing to ensure solutions meet requirements and document any issues for resolution.
- **Training and Support:** Develop training materials and provide user support for new systems or applications.
- **Documentation:** Maintain documentation related to requirements, specifications, project plans, and reports.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration).
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in business or technical analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of IT, software development life cycles, and architectural frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions and omnichannel capabilities for HCPs, Patients, and Payors is preferred.
- Experience in the Life Sciences/Pharma industry is preferred.

**Working Environment**
This position is remote and based in Canada. We offer a hybrid working solution, allowing time in the office while also providing flexibility to work from home.
