**Job Posting: Senior C++ Developer**

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a strong Senior C++ Developer whose primary focus will be on software development for our Merchandising and Schedules engines. We strive for engineering excellence with a product mindset and leverage best practices in an accelerated development environment.

**Responsibilities:**
- Write, test, and troubleshoot code using appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
- Investigate bugs and develop code fixes/modifications.
- Implement new functionality to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with business subject matter experts to document and develop necessary solutions.
- Program routines to parse and store input data in proprietary formats.
- Utilize development IDE tools, such as Visual Studio Profiler, to optimize code for high-scale environments.

**Required Experience and Skills:**
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Development experience in C/C++.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Basic understanding of common SDLC methodologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and tools, such as Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in building and deploying high-throughput, low-latency systems using C++.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering practices (CI/CD, Test Driven Development, Agile).
- Ability to work with business teams and develop implementable designs for developers.
- Proven track record in building efficient code on Linux C++ platforms.
- Self-motivated and organized, capable of creating artifacts in a timely manner by collaborating with multiple teams.
- Ability to read and debug C++ programs.
- Capability to implement proof of concepts to evaluate technology options and articulate decisions.
