**Position Summary**
The Zodiac Group is seeking a Chief of Staff to report into our Manufacturing Portfolio. This role will involve close collaboration with department leads including Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Development to identify business opportunities, execute strategic product roadmaps, and drive organic growth initiatives. The position is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of best practices for investing in and operating Vertical Market Software businesses. Responsibilities include supporting the management and growth of portfolio businesses as well as overseeing the integration of new acquisitions.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Lead initiatives and special projects to provide insights into business performance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and share best practices across Perseus businesses.
- Conduct financial analysis including modeling and preparing presentations, along with deriving insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional finance teams to enhance financial and operational performance metrics, and participate in quarterly business reviews.
- Support M&A activities by evaluating contracts and performing financial and operational analysis; gain exposure to the software acquisition cycle including evaluation, modeling, and due diligence.
- Provide operational support by reviewing monthly and quarterly business performance, and assist in developing actionable plans to track and assess the performance of initiatives.

**Education and Experience:**
- A minimum of three years in management consulting (strategy, integration, financial advisory), private equity, principal investment, or investment banking analyst roles.
- Undergraduate Degree in Business (MBA or CPA is considered an asset, but not required).
- Ability to establish credibility with senior business leaders.
- Proven research, analytical, and financial modeling capabilities.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and limited oversight; proactive in identifying opportunities.
- Ability to work independently while seeking guidance and development opportunities from colleagues.
- Highly proficient in Excel with financial modeling experience.
- A strong desire to build a long-term career with Perseus Group, Constellation Software.
