**Job Posting: Construction Auditor**
**Location:** Toronto, ON
**Your Role Within The Team:**
As a member of our Construction Auditing team, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as the Client representative in the field to inspect and verify civil components of electrical utilities construction performed by contractors.
- Reviewing contract documents and project-specific plans while monitoring contractor compliance.
- Verifying that construction is executed according to IFC drawings and client specifications, using only approved materials.
- Preparing weekly site reports that include photos of daily field activities, tracking construction progress, and maintaining a deficiency register.
- Ensuring construction activities comply with the contractor’s QA/QC plan and the Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
- Monitoring contractor safety performance and reporting any deviations from the contractor’s Health & Safety Plan or violations of OHSA regulations.
- Monitoring environmental performance and reporting any violations or deviations from the contractor’s Environmental Management Plan (EMP) or environmental regulations.

**The Ideal Candidate:**
- Graduated from a Civil/Structural Post-Secondary Engineering or Technical program.
- Minimum of 10 years of construction, utilities, site supervision, and/or inspection experience.
- Extensive experience in building construction and/or electrical utilities construction of transmission or HV station projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Construction Regulations and the ability to interpret design drawings and standards.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills; proficiency in MS Office.
- Self-accountable, with the ability to work independently and prioritize deliverables effectively.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons and be flexible with working hours (nights/weekends).
