**About The Role:**
We are looking for a Claims Adjuster II, Casualty, to join our growing team. As a Non-Auto Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and settling insurance claims to ensure a prompt and fair settlement. Your skills in negotiation, prioritization, and creative problem-solving will thrive in our collaborative culture.

**Location:**
This role can be based in any of the following Ontario Intact offices: Toronto, Mississauga, Ajax, Richmond Hill, London, or Ottawa.

**What You'll Do:**
- Analyze insurance policy wording to determine coverage and assess entitlements.
- Communicate respectfully and timely with customers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers.
- Conduct investigations and identify additional information required to clarify claims.
- Collect reports and statements to determine liability and coverage.
- Document all cases clearly and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Assist junior staff with day-to-day issues and escalate serious issues as necessary.

**What You Bring To The Table:**
- University degree or relevant combination of training and experience.
- 2+ years of experience in handling Casualty claims.
- Ability to oversee moderate to complex claims.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent customer service, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong time management skills.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
