**Overview:**

**Responsibilities:**
- Handle all aspects of claim resolution for assigned Accident & Health claims, providing world-class service to external and internal customers.
- Process claims such as Accidental Death and Dismemberment (A&D), permanent and total disability, critical illness, medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and out-of-country medical.
- Confirm coverage by reviewing policies and submitted documents, analyze coverage, and communicate the coverage position.
- Conduct and direct investigations into loss facts to determine claim eligibility and amounts owed.
- Recognize and pursue subrogation when warranted and refer potential fraud or risk issues.
- Manage higher claims volumes and assist the manager with customer escalations and file audits as needed.
- Support team development and guidance, contributing to a culture of innovation and process improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications:**
- Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of insurance claims experience, specifically in Accident and Health claims or related complex risks.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on managing response timelines and reporting requirements.
- Above-average computer and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of handling customer appeals effectively.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting insurance policies, acting as a liaison with underwriting as necessary.
- Ability to coach and develop team members.
