**About The Role:**
We’re looking for a Climate Analyst to join our team. This position is central to helping us build and deliver action plans that will enable achievement of our climate strategy objectives. The Climate Analyst will report to the Vice President, Climate and collaborate closely with the Chief People, Strategy and Climate Officer.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Work with leaders from assigned business units to build and execute action plans that align with our climate strategy.
- Drive initiatives that contribute to societal benefits and create competitive advantages in a changing environmental landscape.
- Conduct research and analysis, and present findings to diverse audiences.
- Prepare reports and presentations to track progress on managed projects.
- Contribute to emissions accounting and establish an internal emissions reporting framework.
- Foster climate engagement across business units by mobilizing knowledge and commitment.
- Collaborate on climate-related initiatives with the Social Impact team.
- Invest in continuous learning about climate transitions and adaptations, sharing insights with the team.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum 3 years of corporate experience in property and casualty insurance and/or climate change.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., Actuarial Science, Environmental Science, Engineering).
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Strong research and communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
- Proficient in data analysis and management.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management and relationship-building abilities.
- Understanding of property and casualty insurance and/or the finance sector is an asset.
- Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec.
