**About The Role:**
As a Cloud Platform Specialist, you will provide support for existing and implement new Cloud components used in a GenAI platform for DevOps and IT teams, such as gateways, WAFs, routing, load-balancing, authentication, and observability. You will lead performance and capacity management and security compliance of related cloud components. You will collaborate with DevOps and architecture teams to implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions, helping to deliver high-quality software products and services.
**What You’ll Do:**
- Implement and manage Cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and Azure, aligning with the company's long-term goals.
- Ensure high-quality results within tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, and Vendors to drive results throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advise management on Cloud technologies and trends to guide decision-making.
- Promote advanced Cloud solutions, including Gen AI, to support business growth.
- Execute and improve Cloud governance frameworks to manage risks, meet regulations, and ensure data security and integrity.
- Assist in the selection of Cloud technologies and tools to support our technical and business goals.
- Encourage continuous improvement by focusing on best practices for cloud architecture and management.
- Develop, test, debug, and release scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud-native applications.
- Enhance self-service Cloud infrastructure tools and Cloud Native Application CI/CD Pipelines.
- Recommend and implement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiencies.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and assess their potential impact on our business.
**What You Bring To The Table:**
- At least 5 years of experience in Cloud computing.
- Proven experience in executing cloud strategies for large organizations and in-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Successful track record of leading cloud projects and managing risks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Extensive experience with cloud security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk management; cloud security certifications are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor technical teams and collaborate across departments.
- Excellent documentation skills and the ability to write clean and efficient code/scripts.
- Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
**Additional Information:**
- No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada.
