**Minimum Qualifications:**
- Valid G license and access to a vehicle
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Willingness to work long and varied shifts, including occasional weekends

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in manufacturing/plant, construction, concrete, or asphalt
- Mechanically inclined
- DZ license is an asset

**Day in the Life:**
As a Plant Operator, you will start your day by opening the plant, performing daily inspections, and ensuring smooth operations. Effective communication across departments is crucial, including collaboration with payroll and the dispatch manager. You will also manage customer orders and build relationships with material suppliers to meet inventory needs.

You will be the main point of contact for drivers delivering loads and will maintain quality control while keeping the team organized and on schedule. Health and safety are paramount; you will conduct safety talks and prepare the team for daily hazard assessments.

Your role involves operating our plant with advanced dispatch software and working outdoors in the yard, operating machinery, and performing minor repairs. Your contributions will directly impact our success in servicing major construction projects throughout Ontario.
