**Position Overview:**
The Curriculum and Program Review Consultant will collaborate with staff and faculty within the Sheridan College community to enhance academic quality and support new program and curricular development. The focus will be on responsive, inclusive, and accessible approaches to curricular design, including Universal Design for Learning (UDL). The role involves building capacity in inclusive design/EDI approaches to academic quality and developing related resources, workshops, and initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Facilitate and collaborate with teams of subject matter experts, Academic Faculties, and the SPARK team to enhance academic quality through the review and development of curriculum.
- Guide Academic Faculty teams through the program review and consent renewal process, ensuring compliance with internal and external documentation requirements.
- Provide support in data collection and analysis to inform decision-making and maintain academic quality.
- Ensure programs align with the Ontario Qualifications Framework (OQF) and established best practices in curriculum development and inclusive design.
- Promote the adoption of inclusive approaches/EDI in program review and development consultations.
**Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum, Instructional Design, or related field (PhD preferred).
- 3 years of experience in academic quality/curriculum development.
- Knowledge of EDI and inclusive design frameworks related to curricular development.
- Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level is preferred.
- Excellent written, editorial, and presentation skills.
- Research experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and reporting.
- Proven facilitation skills and experience in developing curricular resources.
- Detail-oriented, with an emphasis on academic quality and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with CVS, MCU, and OCQAS is an asset.
