**Position Overview:**
The Curriculum Specialist, Curricular Innovation will participate in significant projects that support curricular innovation and transformation at OCAD University. Reporting to the Manager, Curricular Innovation Initiatives, this role involves collaborating with faculty and academic leadership to implement innovative curriculum delivery methods that are student-centered and equitable.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate in annual planning processes to support curricular innovation projects and programming.
- Develop and evaluate curricular innovation initiatives and professional learning programming.
- Facilitate project planning and liaise with various academic stakeholders.
- Conduct research and analysis to support curricular projects and initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert on digital learning and Generative AI, developing relevant curriculum strategies.
- Lead initiatives including a pedagogical innovation micro-grant program and university-wide teaching exhibitions.
- Engage in collaborative educational research and contribute to scholarship in teaching and learning.

**Qualifications:**
- Doctorate in Curriculum Studies, Education, or a related field with post-secondary teaching experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in a post-secondary teaching and learning environment.
- Strong background in curriculum development, particularly in art and design education.
- Expertise in technology-enabled learning and current pedagogical practices, with a focus on Generative AI.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

**Compensation:**
- Hiring Range: $84,311.75 to $96,656.35 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
- Total of 35 hours per week.

**Mode of Work:**
- This position is eligible for hybrid work arrangements; a minimum of three days per week of on-campus work is required.
