**About the Role:**
For thousands of years, maps have provided essential knowledge for decision-making. As a Maps Evaluator at Peroptyx, you will review mapping data for digital mapping applications, ensuring accuracy for navigation routes in your town, city, or country. This role involves validating business information, such as names and opening hours, and confirming accurate distances between locations to enhance user experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Verify mapping data accuracy, including business details and route distances.
- Conduct research to provide ground truth for mapping applications.
- Work independently, applying multiple sets of instructions as needed.

**Ideal Candidate:**
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent research skills and local knowledge of Canada.
- Strong analytical mindset with good geographical and cultural understanding.
- Familiarity with search engines, map applications, and social media platforms.

**Job Requirements:**
- Must have resided in Canada for at least 5 consecutive years.
- Must pass an online open-book exam to demonstrate comprehension of material and concepts.
- Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours and up to 20 hours per week based on task availability.
- Ability to work independently.
