**Job Title: Data Analytics Senior Analyst**

**Job Description:**
The Data Analytics Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role that contributes to the development of new techniques and enhances processes and workflows within the function. The ideal candidate will focus on building and optimizing data systems, collaborating closely with Systems Architects, Data Scientists, Analysts, and business users to facilitate the flow of data within the pipeline and ensure consistency in data delivery across multiple projects.

**Responsibilities:**
- Contribute to the development and improvement of processes and workflows.
- Adhere to Citi's architectural principles, best practices, and standards.
- Provide technical oversight for the implementation of next generation Data fabric.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Development teams to deliver new requirements.
- Maintain continuous awareness of business, technical, and infrastructure issues; develop creative solutions.
- Lead a team of Data Warehousing and Big Data developers, managing various technologies including Database, ETL tools, Spark, and the Big Data Ecosystem.
- Conduct strategic data analysis, identify insights, and make recommendations.
- Deliver analytics initiatives to solve business problems, assess time and effort, and establish project plans.
- Lead system change processes and provide operational support to business users.
- Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects.
- Assess and communicate business implications of technology applications.
- Ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.

**Qualifications:**
- 5-8 years of experience using SQL for analytical queries with a good understanding of ETL/ELT data pipelines and processes.
- Proficient in SQL and SQL extensions; specific skill sets include Oracle 19c, PL/SQL, Impala, Hive, Spark/Pyspark, and Tableau.
- Additional experience in Java and/or Python is advantageous.
- Strong background in Data Warehousing and Big Data technologies.
- Ability to effectively use analytical and problem-solving techniques.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

**Education:**
- Bachelor’s/University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
