**Job Title: Data Annotator (Part-Time Contractor)**

**Position Summary:**
Cohere seeks dynamic and dedicated Data Annotators with exceptional Chinese Writing and Translation skills. This is a part-time independent contractor position available within Canada or the United States only. Candidates should commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week at a contract rate of $30/hour. Remote work is permitted, and performance incentives are included.

**Responsibilities:**
- **Label and Rank:** Accurately label and rank machine learning data in Chinese, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- **Audit and Correct:** Review and rectify inaccuracies in Chinese language data.
- **Text-Based Tasks:** Complete reading and text-based assignments with a high attention to detail.
- **Evaluate Responses:** Assess responses based on our style guide and complete preference-based tasks.
- **Provide Feedback:** Communicate effectively and provide feedback to team members.
- **Detail-Oriented Execution:** Maintain precision while executing repetitive tasks.

**Qualifications:**
- Native or near-native proficiency in Chinese with excellent English command.
- Strong reading and writing skills, demonstrated through a written test.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks and follow complex instructions.
- Strong time management skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Curiosity about technology and innovative problem-solving skills.
- A reliable laptop for work.
