**Responsibilities:**

- Build predictive models and discover trends and patterns within large datasets
- Communicate business and technical benefits of analytic solutions to diverse audiences
- Conduct research on the availability and suitability of data
- Use ensemble modeling to improve predictive performance
- Highlight key data sources and methodologies for specific projects
- Lead and coordinate teams in the development and implementation of data policies and standards
- Evaluate technical designs and engineering work
- Translate various written materials, ensuring accuracy and content retention
- Develop specifications to maximize oil and gas recovery

**Supervision:**
Manage a team of 5-10 people

**Experience and Specialization:**

- Regulatory investigation and reporting
- Computer and technology knowledge: MS Windows, MS Office, data analysis software, and big data applications
- Experience in forecasting or projection in the energy sector
- Specialization in oil and gas well logging, testing, exploration, and production
