**Job Title: Intermediate Data Scientist**

**Summary:**
We are seeking an Intermediate Data Scientist to join our Data Insights team. You will collaborate closely with Clio’s products and business teams to tackle analytical challenges and contribute to the development of innovative financial products. Your role will involve guiding rapid iterations of hypotheses, experimentation, and strategy setting to extract valuable insights and enhance decision-making processes.

You will work alongside a cross-functional team of data scientists, developing AI and ML solutions to better understand Clio’s customers and deliver cutting-edge products. Your contributions will be vital in enabling business leaders to make data-driven decisions.

**Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with product teams to refine business problems and develop actionable hypotheses.
- Explore new questions about our business and customers to generate impactful insights.
- Develop and deploy predictive AI and ML solutions.
- Apply statistical analysis and data mining techniques to evaluate product features and initiatives.
- Leverage machine learning and data analysis to unlock new product opportunities.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
**Qualifications:**
- 3+ years of applied experience in data science.
- Ability to translate business requirements into data science solutions.
- Proficient in Python and relevant ML libraries (e.g., pandas, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Strong team player with effective time and task management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with SQL for data analysis.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Understanding of SaaS business metrics and growth drivers.
- Familiarity with FinTech concepts and analytics in user behavior.
- Experience in building ML/AI pipelines and with relevant tools (e.g., Kedro, MLFlow).
- Experience with large datasets, NLP, and LLMs.
- Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., computer science, statistics, mathematics).

**Salary Range:**
$106,500 to $125,400 to $144,300 CAD (varies by region).
