**Career Opportunity:**
The Overhead Engineering team within the Streetcar Infrastructure Department is seeking a Design Engineer, Electrical and Traction Power. This role is ideal for a passionate electrical engineer who enjoys design work and collaboration with on-site and operational teams.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide engineering design expertise for the TTC's electrical and traction power systems.
- Plan, schedule, and produce detailed designs, contract specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Coordinate and guide internal staff and external consultants, contractors, and suppliers in design work.
- Prepare engineering calculations, designs, and specifications for planned and emergency work.
- Troubleshoot operational problems, malfunctions, and faults; recommend alternate design solutions.
- Participate in estimating, budgeting, and procurement processes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.

**Qualifications:**
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
- A university degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience leading projects and applying electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Proven experience in the design of electrical and traction power systems and associated equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microstation CADD systems.
