**Job Posting: Senior Systems and DevOps Engineer**

**Experience and Skill Set Requirements:**

**Must Haves:**

- 10+ years of experience in systems, data communications, and telecommunication technology, including proficiency with RedHat Enterprise Linux V7+, UNIX Solaris V10, and Mainframe IMS Connect.
- Extensive experience in configuring, customizing, upgrading, and patching WebLogic V12, WebSphere V9, and Informatica V10.
- Strong expertise in DevOps toolsets in Azure Cloud, including Docker, Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Azure DevOps Pipelines, and OpenShift.
- Proficient in git, including branching and merging strategies, collaborating via pull requests, and practicing GitOps.
- Experience in designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) build automation using Terraform and implementing immutable infrastructure with Ansible and Packer.
- Knowledge of applications performance tuning, storage/capacity management, database migration/upgrade, and Backup/Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
- Familiarity with clustering Load Balancers and Firewall configuration within the Azure cloud environment.
- Experience with technologies such as J2EE, Java, Node.js, Azure Functions, Serverless architectures, and Pub/Sub event-driven systems.

**Technical Knowledge:**

- Significant experience in systems, data communications, and telecommunication technology, with a focus on RedHat Enterprise Linux, UNIX Solaris, and Mainframe IMS Connect.
- Proficiency in WebLogic, WebSphere, and Informatica with a focus on configuration and management.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and cloud technologies, especially within Azure.
- Experience in mid-tier refresh initiatives and relevant technologies in Azure cloud environments.

**Support & Troubleshooting:**

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for multi-platform environments.
- Ability to support pre-production and production systems on a 24/7 basis for applications and middleware.
- Experience with system monitoring, performance data integrity, and ITIL standards.

**Operations:**

- Background in supporting enterprise business and infrastructure projects.
- Experience in Incident Management and Change Management.
- Proficiency in performance analysis and resource usage tracking.

**Interpersonal & Communication Skills:**

- Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of presenting and liaising effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to support both internal and external clients on a 24/7 basis.

**Responsibilities:**

- Prepare Monthly Performance Status Reports detailing deliverables, progress, and accomplishments.
- Review and revise technical designs, develop automation scripts, and promote solutions to user test and production environments.
- Document knowledge transfer materials and conduct walk-through sessions for ministry staff throughout the project.
