**Job Responsibilities:**
- Utilize advanced analytics and artificial intelligence systems to optimize building performance.
- Service assigned equipment and projects, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Use hand tools and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications for diagnosing and performing repairs.
- Analyze, diagnose, and repair customer systems and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Review equipment layout prior to on-site work, coordinating necessary materials and tasks.
- Serve as the direct contact with customers and provide training as needed.
- Provide sales leads to account managers and identify parts needed for jobs.
- Document all materials, parts, work, and costs associated with tasks.
- Keep knowledge up to date on installation and maintenance of Trane products through ongoing training.
- Provide technical support to customers and may supervise apprentice technicians.
- Availability for overnight travel, overtime, and weekend work may be required.
**Qualifications:**
- Technical diploma in building mechanics, refrigeration, or industrial automation, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong communication and mathematical skills.
- Valid driver's license.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Frequent standing and walking; use of hands for manipulation, speaking, and listening.
- Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 40 pounds and, on rare occasions, over 40 pounds.
- Requires the ability to see, focus, and distinguish colors and depth.
**Work Environment:**
- Work is performed outdoors and in mechanical rooms, often in extreme conditions.
- Exposure to moving parts, heavy equipment, wet conditions, and electrical risks.
- High noise levels typical in the work environment.
