We are seeking a visionary Head of Learning and Development who will redefine how we onboard, train, and grow our clinicians, clinic leaders, administrative teams, and corporate teams across Canada while supporting strategic business growth and ensuring compliance with all required learning standards.
**About The Role**
As the Head of Learning and Development, you will shape Lifemark's learning culture and strategy, ensuring every employee has the tools and knowledge to succeed. Reporting to the executive leadership team, you will lead the design, implementation, and evolution of learning programs that enhance performance, support business priorities, and strengthen leadership across the organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build Best-in-Class Onboarding Programs: Create engaging, standardized onboarding experiences for new clinicians and administrative staff.
- Support Strategic Growth Areas: Design learning initiatives that align with Lifemark’s strategic priorities.
- Design a Leadership Development Program: Develop a transformative leadership curriculum for Clinic Directors and first-time managers.
- Ensure Compliance with Required Learning: Implement training programs to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Enhance Lifemark’s Learning Ecosystem: Curate and implement innovative learning experiences and tools.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with HR, Operations, and Clinic Directors to align learning initiatives with organizational goals.
- Measure Impact: Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of learning programs.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven Leadership in L&D: 7+ years in learning and development, with at least 3 years in strategic roles in healthcare or service-focused organizations.
- Instructional Design Expertise: Experience in designing instruction that meets business competencies.
- Creativity Meets Strategy: Record of designing engaging, scalable programs with measurable results.
- Passion for People: Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
- Compliance Expertise: Familiarity with regulatory training requirements in healthcare.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to connect with diverse teams and influence stakeholders.
- LMS Proficiency: Experience with LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and modern learning methods.
