**Job Title: Director of IT**

**Position Overview:**
Our client is seeking a Director of IT who will ensure seamless delivery of IT operations and lead the development and execution of the company's technology roadmaps. This role is critical in enabling business growth, ensuring security, and fostering innovation.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with the CFO and senior management to develop and execute IT strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
- Design and implement comprehensive IT roadmaps focused on operational excellence and innovation.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to recommend solutions that enhance business processes and create efficiencies.
- Implement and optimize robust service delivery models for effectiveness and user satisfaction.
- Maintain oversight of IT infrastructure, applications, and networks to ensure stability and security.
- Present key performance metrics to leadership, including system uptime and budget adherence.
- Implement a "Security by Design" approach to safeguard information assets.
- Develop IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans to mitigate risk and ensure continuity.
- Research and implement technological solutions that drive productivity and collaboration.
- Lead the adoption of cloud-based solutions and advanced analytics to optimize operations.
- Collaborate with department leaders on scalable, cost-effective technology solutions.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Partner with the CFO to manage the IT budget and evaluate vendor proposals.

**Skills, Experience, and Education:**
- 10+ years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a management or leadership role.
- Proven ability in designing and executing IT strategies and roadmaps.
- Post-secondary degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) are desirable.
- Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in a collaborative environment.
- Strong project management skills with a successful track record.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on organizational change through technology.
