**Location:** Open to locations across Canada (Toronto or Montreal preferred)

**Role Overview:**
We are seeking a Director, Strategy & Operations for our Casualty, Legal, and Large Loss Claims team. This leadership position contributes to our growth by executing strategies that ensure market competitiveness and organizational success. The Director will report to the Deputy Senior Vice President of Claims and work closely with the leadership team across Canada.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Partner with leadership (VPs and Directors) to develop strategy and vision for operations across 1100+ employees.
- Collaborate with COEs and leaders to develop, design, and track business strategies and projects aligned with claims strategic priorities.
- Establish and refine best practice workflows, procedures, and change management plans.
- Lead project management efforts and change management initiatives.
- Coordinate key strategic meetings and prepare research, analysis, and presentations for leadership.
- Assess claims strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, promoting actionable proposals.
- Support budget process and initiatives delivery, ensuring accountability.
- Educate stakeholders on key trends and conduct primary and secondary research as required.
- Explore external industry and technology trends to identify strategies for sustained competitive advantage.
- Ensure collaboration across Canada and coordinate communication plans for national teams.
- Demonstrate leadership values and provide guidance to enhance team performance.

**Qualifications:**
- University or college degree (preferably in finance, actuarial, or business).
- 7-10 years of work experience, including 3-5 years of management experience.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent research, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is required.
