**Job Title:** Director, Strategy & Operations
**Location:** Open to locations across Canada (Toronto or Montreal preferred)
**About the Role:**
We are seeking a Director, Strategy & Operations to join our growing team for Casualty, Legal, and Large Loss Claims. This role will contribute to the growth and sustainability of Intact’s leadership advantage through the execution of strategies ensuring ongoing market competitiveness and organizational success.
**Responsibilities:**
- Partner with the leadership team to develop our strategy and vision for operations across 1100+ employees.
- Collaborate with COEs/Leaders to develop, design, and track business strategies and projects supporting claims priorities.
- Establish and refine best practice workflows, procedures, and change management plans.
- Lead project management and change management initiatives.
- Coordinate key strategic meetings and prepare research, analysis, and presentations for leadership.
- Assess claims strengths and weaknesses, and propose actionable strategies.
- Support budget processes and initiatives delivery with financial acumen.
- Educate stakeholders on key trends through presentations and insights.
- Conduct primary and secondary research with internal and external partners.
- Identify organizational strategies and capabilities for long-term competitive advantage.
- Foster collaboration across Canada and ensure strong communication plans.
**Qualifications:**
- University or college degree (preferably in finance, actuarial, or business).
- 7-10 years of work experience; 3-5 years of management experience.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent project management abilities.
- Strong research, communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
- Financial and business acumen.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is required.
