**Position Overview**
The Education Interpreter & Site Representative delivers hands-on outdoor environmental education programs to groups of visitors at TRCA sites and facilities.
**Major Responsibilities**
- Greet and welcome visitors, outlining facility usage and protocols, completing administrative procedures
- Learn program content to effectively deliver interactive sessions to varied audiences
- Ensure program equipment, supplies, and artifacts are not damaged during usage
**Qualifications**
**Education:**
- Minimum of a post-secondary diploma or degree in Recreation, Outdoor Recreation, Education, or a related field
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C Certification
- Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Screening
**Experience:**
- 2+ years of experience delivering outdoor recreation programs for diverse age groups
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:**
- Effective communication skills with tact and courtesy
- Knowledge of environmental concepts and disciplines
- Ability to adapt program delivery to suit various audiences
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and online tools like MS Teams and SharePoint
- Flexible to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays
