**Qualifications:**
- Candidates must be members in good standing or in the process of becoming Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) qualified prior to the start date.
- External applicants are required to provide a minimum of three professional, supervisory teaching references (including full name, position title, work location/organization, and email address) in the job posting screening section of the online application.
- Internal YRDSB employees must include all previous teaching experiences in their application and two references, one of which must be a YRDSB administrator.

**Employment Conditions:**
Successful candidates will be required to submit a current original Police Vulnerable Sector Check or an Enhanced Police Information Check (EPIC) prior to starting employment. These documents must be issued within the last six months, and candidates are not advised to obtain them before receiving an offer of employment.

**References:**
Acceptable referees include:
- Principal/Vice-Principal who has supervised you.
- Faculty Advisor/Coordinator or Practicum Advisor.
- Host/Mentor Teacher who has observed your teaching practice.
- Professional reference who can speak to your teaching practice.
