**Job Description:**
The OCI Endoscope Technician I is responsible for ensuring the safety of all Olympus products repaired by following established processes and procedures. The technician will evaluate, troubleshoot, disassemble, assemble, repair, and inspect Endoscopes, Electronics, or Microscopy products to assure proper function.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform minor repairs on large diameter endoscopes and assist in production line repairs.
- Mix glue, record data, calibrate equipment, and maintain cleanliness in common areas.
- Follow established procedures according to Olympus online repair manual (ES-Web).
- Rotate through different parts of the repair department to gain comprehensive knowledge of products and repair techniques.
- Meet or exceed repair and quality standard times.
- Participate in quality systems, quality improvement, and 5S programs as directed.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.

**Job Qualifications:**

**Required:**
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Demonstrated skill in disassembly, assembly, repair, and quality inspection or equivalent experience.
- Manual dexterity with small hand tools and testing equipment.
- Experience or ability in hand soldering.
- Ability to read and follow manuals, work instructions, and job standards.
- Customer-focused with the ability to maintain quality and productivity.

**Preferred:**
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical repairs with mechanical or electronic equipment.
- Repair experience in the medical or health care industry preferred.

**Additional Requirements:**
- Hepatitis B vaccination is recommended for employees at risk of exposure to blood or bodily fluids.
- Proof of Twinrix (Hepatitis A and B) vaccination may be required or a waiver signed.
