**Part-Time English Teacher (JK-Grade 4)**

**Location:** Oakville, ON (commuting from Mississauga, Burlington, Etobicoke, or Milton preferred)

**About the Role:**
Oxford Learning Oakville Uptown Core is seeking passionate and dedicated part-time teacher-tutors to join our learning centre. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with students and are enthusiastic about teaching English and social studies.

**Position Details:**
- **Hours:** Evening hours (4:00 PM - 8:00 PM) and Saturdays (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM).
- **Commitment:** Preference for candidates available until the end of the school year, with opportunities to continue through the summer.
- **Setting:** In-person position—commute required.

**Position Requirements:**
- **Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
- Fourth-year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
- Teaching certification is an asset.
- **Experience:**
- Ability to teach young children joyfully.
- Experience teaching/tutoring at the Kindergarten to Grade 12 level.
- Strong English written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multitask with up to three students at a time.

**Responsibilities:**
- Work directly with students as an Interactive Coach.
- Teach students at various levels.
- Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
- Complete post-lesson notes and daily student communication updates.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.

**Salary:** $19.00 - $22.00 / hour

**Schedule:** Evenings Monday to Friday; Saturday availability.
