**Job Title: Environmental Planner**

**Your Opportunity:**
We are seeking an Environmental Planner with at least 5 years of experience to join Dillon’s national Environmental Planning group. You will collaborate closely with our in-house teams, including engagement specialists, biologists, environmental scientists, land use planners, and various engineering disciplines. The successful candidate can be based at any one of our offices: Chatham, Guelph, Hamilton, Kingston, Kitchener, London, Oakville, Ottawa, Downtown Toronto, North York, Vaughan, or Windsor. **Responsibilities:**
- **Project Delivery:**
- Manage/lead projects for private and public sector clients related to Environmental Assessment (EA), environmental permitting, and environmental compliance monitoring.
- Author EA reports and other necessary environmental documentation to satisfy regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate alternative solutions and develop mitigation strategies to address negative environmental impacts.
- Develop and lead innovative public and agency engagement programs.
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams on various projects.

- **Business Development:**
- Build client relationships by identifying market opportunities and preparing proposals.

- **Learning & Development:**
- Commit to self-development and provide mentoring and coaching to less-experienced staff.
- Participate in professional associations and committees.

**Qualifications:**
- A university degree or post-undergraduate diploma in planning, environmental studies, biology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience, preferably in the consulting industry.
- Successful project delivery as an Environmental Planner or Project Manager.
- Knowledge of relevant environmental legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
- Experience in stakeholder and Indigenous Community engagement programs.
- Professional designations such as Registered Professional Planner (RPP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are assets.
