**Job Title:** Food Safety and Compliance Specialist

At Steritech, we cultivate a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Our Food Safety & Compliance Specialists assist hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients in ensuring brand standards, food quality, and excellent service for their customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct assessments to measure conformity to established regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards.
- Observe food preparation and cooking standards to ensure food safety, health, and sanitation practices.
- Partner with clients to address root causes of assessment discrepancies and develop corrective action plans.
- Teach and coach clients on creating a safer and healthier workplace.

**Travel Requirements:**
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time by car and/or plane, equivalent to approximately 10 overnight stays per month.

**Qualifications:**
- Valid full driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in food service, restaurant, or grocery operations, with a focus on customer service.
- Strong technical knowledge of food safety is preferred; ServSafe and/or CP-FS Certification(s) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be flexible with a Sunday to Saturday work schedule.
- Ability to lift 10 lbs and engage in various physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to influence others diplomatically and provide constructive feedback.
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

**Compensation and Benefits:**
- Salary range: $44,000.00 to $46,000.00 per year.
