**Job Title: FP&A Senior Analyst**

**Role Overview:**
The FP&A Senior Analyst will provide support for the Planning & Analysis function and act as a Finance Business Partner to key budget owners. Leveraging expertise in management and financial reporting, financial modeling, and problem-solving, the Senior Financial Analyst will help drive revenue and reduce costs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Projects & New Businesses Support:**
- Assist with business casing by creating financial models to assess project feasibility, including Net Present Value (NPV) calculations.
- Support the development of commercial models, pricing strategies, KPIs, and dashboards for new business units/products.
- Develop and maintain revenue models for both short-term and long-term projections.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis on ad-hoc requests related to product/service pricing.
- Prepare, review, and communicate project financial results to senior management and stakeholders.
- **Financial Planning Support:**
- Collaborate with business partners to develop forecasts and budgets, including multi-year rolling forecasts.
- Gather financial and qualitative information for due diligence and validation.
- Analyze departmental inputs and prepare financial projections.
- Advise business owners on financial performance and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Provide financial inputs for Management reports, Board reporting, and the annual 10-year forecast.
- **Month End Reporting:**
- Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements for business units and projects.
- Prepare monthly financial packages inclusive of variance commentary.
- Meet with budget owners to review results, explain variances, and offer guidance to stay on budget.
- **Additional Accountabilities:**
- Create various reports for management and board packages.
- Support the accounting department with year-end analysis and related tasks.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
- A university degree in Accounting or Finance; an accounting designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement analysis.
- Experience in business casing and financial modeling is an asset.
- Knowledge of Canadian ASPE Accounting Standards.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and business modeling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Team player with a customer-centric and positive attitude.
- Experience with JDE or other enterprise accounting software is advantageous.
- Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
