**Position Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Java Fullstack Development Lead. This hybrid role requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office or client office 1-2 times per week.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and implement initiatives to meet business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into detailed design specifications and code.
- Design solutions, write code, perform unit testing, and develop documentation.
- Assess the impact of design decisions on product/service development and recommend solutions for optimization.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts from various domains; plan and monitor performance.
- Build scalable and supportable solutions aligned with common assets.
- Automate processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends through professional development.

**Qualifications:**
- 9+ years of hands-on experience in Java Fullstack Development with experience in managing development teams in an Onshore-Offshore model.
- Must have skills: Angular (minimum version 12), Java (1.8 minimum), and AWS Lambda.
- Nice to have: Spring Boot, Node.js, CDK, Fargate.
- Familiarity with APIs, REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, Microservices architecture, and Kafka.
- Experience with cloud services and DevOps concepts including OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub.
- Comfortable working in an Agile/SCRUM environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- AWS Developer and AWS Architect Professional Certification is desired.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are essential.
