**Job Title: Learning and Development Specialist**

**Location:** 100 King Street West, Toronto, Ontario, M5X 1A1

**Position Overview:**

The Learning and Development Specialist will identify business needs and deliver effective, performance-focused programs that support business strategy. This role involves developing, promoting, maintaining, and managing designated learning programs, while conducting periodic reviews and analyzing program outcomes to provide insights and make recommendations for enhancements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and manage learning programs aligned with BMO’s purpose, values, and strategy.
- Build interdependent teams to collaborate across functional and operating groups.
- Attract, retain, and enable career development of top talent.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders for business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Assess business/group challenges and recommend measures to improve effectiveness.
- Design measurable sustainment strategies and mitigate segment-specific risks.
- Manage resources and lead execution of strategic initiatives to achieve business goals.
- Conduct analysis to resolve strategic issues and inform decision making.
- Monitor program performance and address issues proactively.
- Lead development of communication strategies aimed at influencing behavior.
- Support execution of operational programs and assess quality of execution.
- Participate in vendor relationship management and ensure service costs are maintained within budget.
- Stay updated with industry developments to enhance program competitiveness and effectiveness.

**Qualifications:**

- Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
- Expertise in learning design and facilitation.
- Strong program management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Data-driven decision-making skills.

**Salary:**
$103,500.00 - $192,500.00 (Salaried)
