**Job Title: Head of AI**
**Location: Riyadh, KSA (Relocation Required)**

Our exciting start-up partner seeks a Head of AI to develop and deploy advanced AI technologies, including computer vision, deep learning, NLP, 3D reconstruction, robotics vision, reinforcement learning, and LLMs. This role focuses on shaping research direction, advising on algorithmic design, and driving system deployment and scalability to ensure innovative solutions are seamlessly translated into production-ready applications. The candidate will mentor and guide teams in applying advanced techniques while ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Strategic Leadership**
- Define and refine research priorities across AI domains to align with business objectives and long-term vision.
- Provide high-level direction in the research and development of innovative AI solutions, including algorithmic design, architecture, and scalability.
- Identify emerging trends in AI and recommend opportunities to integrate them into the company’s offerings.

**Mentorship and Team Guidance**
- Mentor and advise AI teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Provide guidance on advanced AI techniques, ensuring a strong foundation in computer vision, 3D reconstruction, robotics vision, and reinforcement learning.
- Help teams balance research and development efforts to meet short-term goals and long-term innovation targets.

**Research to Deployment**
- Oversee the transition of research breakthroughs into scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Advise on the deployment of AI models, ensuring robustness, reliability, and adherence to industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into products and services.

**Standards and Alignment**
- Ensure alignment between technical innovations and industry standards.
- Advocate for ethical AI practices, prioritizing fairness, transparency, and scalability.

**Required Skills:**
- Extensive experience guiding teams in AI research and translating innovations into practical applications.
- Proven expertise in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, NLP, reinforcement learning, 3D reconstruction, and robotics vision.
- Strong knowledge of AI frameworks and tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
- Strong foundation in mathematical modeling and algorithmic problem-solving.
- In-depth knowledge of designing and deploying scalable AI systems, including distributed computing, parallelization, and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for handling large-scale AI workloads.
- Strong understanding of database and data pipeline architecture to handle large-scale structured and unstructured data.
- Experience with large-scale deployments of LLMs and reinforcement learning systems.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker for deploying AI models in production environments.
