**Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor**

**Overview:**
Dillon’s Health and Safety Team is seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to join our dynamic group. Reporting to the Director of H&S, you will assist in the implementation and promotion of health and safety strategies, procedures, and systems across our offices and divisions.

**Location:**
This position can be based at any of our Ontario offices: London, Chatham, Guelph, Kitchener, Hamilton, or Oakville. We offer flexible work hours and hybrid arrangements.

**Responsibilities:**
- Foster a proactive health and safety culture.
- Provide guidance to staff ensuring compliance with Dillon’s HS Management System and provincial occupational health and safety legislation.
- Support the Joint Health and Safety Committee and all levels of management.
- Coach Project Managers in developing and executing project H&S Plans.
- Perform worksite audits and inspections.
- Investigate incidents to determine root causes and recommend improvements.
- Participate in the creation of new HS strategies and deliver HS training.
- Liaise with Provincial and Federal HS Regulators as required.

**Qualifications:**
- Post-secondary education in Health and Safety or equivalent; Canadian HS designation preferred (CRSP/T, CSO, NCSO).
- 3-7 years of experience in health and safety within a large multi-faceted operation, preferably in engineering, construction or consulting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OHS & WCB legislation and HS Management systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certifications are beneficial.
