**Job Title:** Instructional Design & Delivery Specialist
**Job Description Summary:**
The Instructional Design & Delivery Specialist is responsible for designing and leading the Training and Development strategy for Customer Success. This role serves as the key contact for all departments and external customers, supporting the development and implementation of Compliance and client-related training initiatives within Apple Express. The Specialist will also assist in audits and inspections, develop operational procedures, and lead continuous improvement projects based on measurable outcomes.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Partner with department managers and key stakeholders to ensure company training requirements are met and facilitate continuous improvement projects.
- Edit and develop online learning materials; analyze and refine existing content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop course content.
- Apply adult learning theory and instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive training.
- Write scripts for video and audio content.
- Troubleshoot technical issues reported by users.
- Coach managers on effective training methods and techniques.
- Facilitate training in-person and online for employees or Independent Contractors/vendors as needed.
- Train employees on learning technologies.
- Stay current on best practices in instructional design.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements alongside functional leads.
- Deliver mandatory training covering topics such as AODA, ISO900:2015, Health & Safety policies, etc.
- Analyze and assess Compliance Training needs for employees, Independent Contractors, and vendors.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- University degree or College Diploma in instructional design, education, or a related field, or 3-5 years of experience in a training role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
- Creativity and proficiency in designing technical trainings for various delivery methods.
- Knowledge of instructional theory and experience in classroom and online instruction.
- Experience with authoring software for developing interactive training experiences.
- Proficiency in administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Experience with design platforms like Articulate 360 and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Strong communication skills with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate departments and external stakeholders.
- Certified Training and Development Professional certification (CTDP) is a plus.
**Work Location:** Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L4W 5H8
**Job Types:** Full-time, Part-time
