**Job Title: Internship - Energy Providers Practice**

**Job Family:** Intern

**What You Will Do:**
The Guidehouse Internship Program provides interns with hands-on experience on real-world projects, showcasing the Guidehouse culture and offering a meaningful consulting experience. Interns will work with teams to deliver real-time results in support of our clients. Each intern is paired with a Buddy to assist in navigating their Guidehouse experience.

**Highlights of the Guidehouse Internship Program Include:**
- 12-week experience in Summer 2025 (Anticipated start: June 2, end: August 22)
- Learning & Development Sessions (E-learning & Instructor-Led)
- Performance management and evaluations
- Networking & Social Activities and Events
- Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Event & Speaker Series
- Collaborative Group Projects and networking opportunities with Subject Matter Experts

The Energy Providers practice helps utility companies, energy regulators, and energy sector investors navigate the rapid transition to cleaner energy solutions. As a Guidehouse intern, you will collaborate on projects, gather and analyze data, and create client deliverables.

**Key Responsibilities May Include:**
- Data analysis and technical reviews
- Economic modeling and primary data collection
- Assessing energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies
- Supporting energy simulation modeling projects
- Market research and policy analysis
- Developing technology strategies for utilities and energy companies
- Field performance measurement and data collection

**What You Will Need:**
- Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
- Minimum Degree Status Required: Graduating with an undergraduate or advanced degree between Fall 2025 and Summer 2026
- Must be currently authorized to work in the country (no sponsorship available)

**What Would Be Nice To Have:**
- Degree/Majors Preferred: Engineering, Data Science, Public Policy, Sustainability, Economics, or a related discipline
- Interest in the Energy Industry and/or sustainability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Knowledge of programming languages (R, Python, SQL, SPSS)
- Experience with financial modeling and capital planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive work style and excellent communication skills
