**Role Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, create, and implement a variety of Java-based solutions ranging from mobile applications to database programming.

**Responsibilities**
- Write code for proof-of-concepts and prototypes to support solution architecture activities.
- Provide controls and information on performance improvements.
- Review and contribute to the definition of functional and non-functional business requirements and translate these into clearly articulated architectural requirements.
- Lead design, coding, unit testing, and debugging of applications in various software languages.
- Develop technical specifications for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software and configure products accordingly.
- Maintain thorough subject matter expertise of the functionality and solution architecture.

**Requirements**
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Experience in managing software project deliveries.
- Proficient in Java 11, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, and message platforms (e.g., Kafka, JMS, MQ).
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices and tools.
- Experience with Oracle and MS-SQL databases is preferred.

**Desired Skills**
- Previous experience in the banking sector is a plus.
